On the Land - Caribou are the traditional food
“When my husband goes hunting or checks the fish net, he brings back
country food like caribou, beaver, ducks, rabbits and fish. I prepare the
meat for my family to eat. When he brings back a lot of meat I make dry meat
or dry fish and pemmican. When my husband brings back beaver or caribou hides
and I do all the work myself.”
